A letter to McDonald Ave. residents,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your patience throughout the road work along McDonald Ave.
During this time, I believe the city has learned a great deal about some changing needs with regards to procurement timelines and practices, as well as ways that we as a city can continue to provide a high level of service while being attentive to the needs of our residents. I thank you for your many calls and emails during what has been a challenging time.
I wanted to make you aware of our upcoming ward meeting. At this meeting, I invite residents to attend for further clarity on the McDonald Ave project, its timelines, and some of the long-term outcomes on the work undertaken here. Members of city administration will be on-hand for this discussion.
At the meeting, we will also look at some other initiatives that pertain to residents of McDonald Ave. including development at the Wheat City Golf Course, the proposed 34th street expansion project, and property crime concerns in the area.
The meeting information is as follows:
Tuesday, December 10, 2019
7:00 p.m.
Vincent Massey High School Lecture Theatre (715 McDiarmid Drive)
I thank you again for your continued patience and hope you have time during this busy holiday season to attend. If you have any questions whatsoever, I welcome the call or email.
Kindest Regards,

Shaun Cameron
